Eloquent yet immediately comprehensible. A dead-simple concept that illustrates a great truth. Because it is based on extremely solid data -- geographic size, which is as close to actual fact as we can get -- the result is inarguable. Exemplary.

  1. I agree that the area illustration is incredible (along with the tip that Mercator really blows it for Africa) but I'm not following your reference to population, which only gets a small mention in the graphic. Is there another page I'm missing?
